You can never go wrong with a feast unless you are on a weight loss plan. However, even then, you can still enjoy a ‘cheat meal’ when you receive an invitation to an event where you will be doing plenty of eating. I have been the type to yo-yo with my weight, and after an immense burden was removed from my life, at the same time when Saturn was well into my First House, I lost a lot of weight. I still enjoyed my cheat meals once a week. And it worked as it helps ramp up your metabolism as long as you get back into the game immediately after.

However, once Jupiter entered the First House, I maintained the weight for a while until the pandemic hit, then the weight started coming back on. Eventually, I will take it off again. One day the motivation will come back to me, and I won’t try before I have that motivation also because I will not stick with it. But I am confident it will come back when it is ready to go back. And I am probably not helping my situation now by writing about what I am about to write.

Last week, I wrote about tarot cards that represent weight loss. This week, I am writing about tarot cards that represent having a feast! Yes, seven tarot cards represent large meals, whether you are enjoying a hearty meal with friends and family or eating a lot of food on your own. Let’s take a look at the seven following cards that represent feasts.

Empress

The Empress

The Empress is the motherly and nurturing card, so of course, it represents you having your belly filled as this is the card that represents you needing some nourishing. You know that a mama that wants to feed her kids well tends to feed her kids well. Perhaps you can think about nourishing yourself so much to the point of even overdoing it, which you don’t want to do. But if you are enjoying a feast, that is the best nourishment you can get, especially if part of the meal involves eating something that reminds you of mom’s cooking, even if it is not her cooking per se.

Nine Of Pentacles

Nine of Pentacles

Nine of Pentacles

The Nine of Pentacles is all about physical wealth, and it usually represents the wealth you earned from your accomplishments and hard work. However, since the Pentacles is a bodily suit, it can mean food as well. Not only do you bask in affluence, but you will go for gourmet meals whether you dine out at expensive restaurants or go to fancy corporate parties. When you dine out at expensive restaurants, you won’t care about the costs. You will enjoy the appetizer, main course, and dessert, and even treat your friend or whoever you take out because you can.

Ten Of Pentacles

The Ten of Pentacles is somewhat different as it usually represents a family feast. Imagine the lovely aroma of bread baking, pasta cooking, baked potatoes in the oven, and a roast already laid on the table. There are glasses of wine for those who are old enough to drink in addition to squares of cheese and crackers for munching while waiting for the rest of the food to cook. The family feast of this nature represents a glorious sensual experience. And even when you are done with the first course, you will still have room for seconds, or maybe even thirds. You can imagine Homer Simpson drooling if he received an invitation to this feast.

Four Of Wands

Four of Wands

The Four of Wands represents celebrations with family and friends. Therefore, when you think of celebrations, you think of food and a lot of food. It can represent a home celebration with plenty of delicious food from top-notch catering or an abundance of homecooked meals. However, who really has the time to cook up a storm? Especially if you are the one busy planning the party. The party of friends and family can be at a restaurant or a buffet. And usually, when it comes to these celebrations, there is an exciting announcement after the feasts.

The Devil

The Devil

The Devil

The Devil can rule addictions and decadence. Therefore, it is not a celebratory nature like the other cards when it comes to food and eating. It can represent a night out of eating like there is no tomorrow, such as going to a buffet or going to a party to enjoy the food – and nothing else. When it comes to decadence, it can also represent lying around, watching movies, and eating several boxes of chocolates. Or, unfortunately, it can also represent a food addiction, which is anything but celebratory. That always requires intervention.

Nine Of Cups

Nine of Cups

The Nine of Cups is another celebratory card, as it is the wish card. That card can be one that represents food, wine, good food, and good company where everyone is happy and content. You can think of this card as the celebration card after getting good news or reaching a milestone. You can think of this card when a graduation party features a lot of delicious food or even a party surrounding a pregnancy announcement. Those are not just milestones but wishes coming true as well. Therefore, when this card shows up, the words that come to your mind are eating, drinking, and being merry.

Ten Of Cups

Ten of Cups

The Ten of Cups represents a family feast and family celebrations. And familial contentment is what this card represents too. That is the card that shows up whenever the family gets together, and they have a great time. They are not fighting, and they are enjoying having a celebration together. Think about a family gathering that involves mom serving up the delicious food that she cooked up to make sure that everyone in the family is nice and full and content. Think about a designated day of the week for a family dinner that involves great food, plenty of laughter, and a lot of fun.

Whenever you end up having a feast or going to a celebration that involves plenty of eating, you can think of any of these cards. Find the one that relates to your situation the most. Then that will help you associate the feast factor with the card.
